Turn for Troops

Woodcraft of Houston is an awesome place where wood turners go to grab their MUCH NEEDED supplies; I personally love their hand books on designing, finishing and woodworking. I came across something pretty neat recently on their website whilst browsing, though. They happen to host an event called Turn for Troops in which you get to send a personal appreciation message to an American serving in the U.S. Military. 'This is a National Turn-a-Thon the weekend of Nov. 11-12, 2016. Pens are distributed to American military personnel on active duty or recovering in a rehabilitation center. It is absolutely FREE and Woodcraft has everything you need to make a great pen. Contact the Woodcraft store nearest you for more details.'
